The Tri-Base System

Teinture is formulated with 3 lifting bases to provide a controlled oxidation system. A low base (low Alkalinity level) keeps browns from over lifting, while a medium base (medium Alkalinity level) keeps Reds from fading, and a high base (higher alkalinity level) to produce pure blondes.

Mastey uses a proprietary alkaline agent that is much gentler and healthier for the hair and scalp than ammonia.
