Mastey’s dedication to healthy hair and skin, along with our unwavering support for environmentally friendly alternatives has been a driving force for our company since its creation. Throughout the years we have brought many innovations to the market including:
- Traité, the world’s first sulfate-free shampoo in 1977. This accomplishment alone has endeared Mastey to stylists and consumers throughout the world.
- Le Gel, the world’s first alcohol-free hair gel in the 1980’s. Always looking to make hair care gentle, Mastey introduced alcohol-free gel in the height of the alcohol in your products generation. This ingenious formulation remains a best seller to this day.
- Teinture, zero ammonia high-lift hair color with grape seed extract for longer lasting color. Mastey Teinture is very different from other hair color in the market place; it is free of ammonia, free of MEA and so gentle that we recommend the use of 50 and 60-volume peroxide for high lift blonding effects that rival the use of bleach without the damage.

Mastey is a complete line of professional hair care products. We manufacture everything from colors and perms to shampoos and conditioners in our manufacturing facility in Valencia, California.
